Matt Shane is the principal construction consultant at Shane & Associates. With over 30 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing and specialty contracting, Matt has both the practical experience and expertise to determine the root cause of construction-related problems.
A Past-President of the Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute (www.swrionline.org), he has also served on the Board of Directors of the Florida West Coast Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (www.icri.org), the ICRI National Coatings and Waterproofing Committee, the ICRI Project of the Year Committee and ASTM Committee E-06 on the Performance of Exterior Building Walls (www.astm.org).
In addition to his years of practical experience, Matt has also authored or co-authored technical bulletins and manuals on Elastomeric Wall Coatings; Pedestrian Deck Coatings; Vehicular Deck Coatings; and Weatherproofing Exterior Walls. He is also knowledgeable and experienced in the structural strengthening of existing structures along with corrosion control and cathodic protection.
Matt is also a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1519993); OSHA 30-hour Certified in General Industry Safety and Health; and American Safety and Health Institute Certified in Adult Basic First Aid and Adult CPR and AED. Construction safety is an important aspect of all projects and this training allows Shane & Associates to ensure you of a safe work environment for your residents, tenants, employees and visitors.

Donna Shane is the principal multi-family housing consultant at Shane & Associates. Having spent over 30 years in the industry, starting as a leasing agent and working her way up to Regional Vice-President overseeing more than 5,000 units, Donna understands all facets of apartment life and apartment management. With a particular focus on marketing and market placement, her expertise also includes due diligence, mortgagee inspections and staff training. |
